After Apple and Essential infected the smartphone world with notch phones, it felt like we would never see a mobile device that comes with a truly bezel-less display.
A dream that a lot of us (including myself) wished to see. It seems that gorgeous futuristic phones we’ve seen in Sci-Fi movies and series were never coming to reality.
Then, in a surprising turn of events, Oppo and Vivo released the Find X and NEX respectively, smartphones that had truly bezel-less displays. Perhaps that was the wake-up call for companies to stop designing notched phones and working towards a new front look for their products.
Some went on the route of minimizing the notch, but the second biggest smartphone manufacturer in US had decided to follow in Oppo’s and Vivo’s footsteps.
Huawei has just posted an image of a bezel-less phone with what looks to be a front camera cutout on their Weibo page.
Based on the image, the phone should come with a truly bezel-less display and a circular front camera cutout on the top left of the screen.
Some have speculated that this will be the Huawei Nova 4. However, that might not be the case as Nova phones generally come with dual-front cameras.
Other than that, the phone will come with a headphone jack and either a Kirin 980 or 710 processor.
